How do I get to the VdS-FireSafety Cologne?
Arrival by car
If you are travelling by car, please follow the green "Koelnmesse" signs. These will guide you directly to the designated parking areas in the vicinity of the trade fair in the area of Hall 10 of the Congress Centre East.
In addition, directions to the VdS-FireSafety Cologne 2023 will be provided via the Koelnmesse electronic parking guidance system.
Arrival with Deutsche Bahn
From Köln Messe/Deutz station, you can reach the Congress-Centrum Ost on foot (approx. 350 m) by following the signs "Koelnmesse" in the station area and then the signs "Eingang Ost".
From Cologne Central Station, take the S6 (towards Essen), S11 (towards Bergisch Gladbach), S13 (towards Troisdorf), the Regionalexpress RE (towards Koblenz or Hamm) or the Regionalbahn RB (towards Overath or Oberbarmen). Köln Messe/Deutz station is the next stop immediately after crossing the Rhine bridge. From there, follow the signs as described above.
Arrival by tram
Take tram line 1 (direction Bensberg) or 9 (direction Königsforst) to Köln Messe/Deutz and follow the signs "Koelnmesse" or "Eingang Ost" from there. Alternatively, you can take line 3 (towards Thielenbruch) or line 4 (towards Schlebusch), which stop directly in front of the Congress-Centrum Ost (Koelnmesse/Osthallen stop).
Where can I park during the VdS-FireSafety Cologne?
During the event days, car park level 10 is open for trade fair visitors and exhibitors at the VdS-FireSafety Cologne. You can reach the car park via Gate D.
Access to the car park deck will also be signposted via Koelnmesse's electronic parking guidance system. The parking fee for trade fair visitors is EUR 15 per day and must be paid in cash on site. Exhibitors must have their parking pass and their QR code from the exhibitor badge ready in digital form.
Is there a box office on site?
No. We offer our ticket sales exclusively via our ticket shop.
As a trade fair visitor, can I buy a ticket for the evening event?
No. Attendance at the evening event on the first day of the VdS-FireSafety Cologne in the Kristallsaal is only possible for exhibitors, speakers and conference participants. Admission is only possible after prior registration.
I am only attending the conference on one day, can I still visit the trade fair on both days?
Yes, a conference ticket always automatically includes the opportunity to visit the trade fair on both days.
If your conference takes place on 7 December 2023, you can use the digital ticket you received from us to print your badge on site on 6 December 2023 and visit the trade fair. If your conference is on 6 December 2023 and you would like to visit the trade fair on 7 December 2023, please bring your printed badge with you to gain admission to the trade fair again.
